Project Overview

Pulse Healthcare wanted to simplify virtual consultations by creating a seamless WebRTC video platform integrated with electronic health records (EHR), strictly adhering to HIPAA and WCAG AA accessibility standards.

The Challenge

Securing peer-to-peer video streams with end-to-end encryption, ensuring strict role-based access control for medical files, and crafting an interface effortless for non-tech-savvy elderly patients.

Our Solution

We developed a Next.js web application featuring an accessible, high-contrast user interface. Videoconferencing was built using WebRTC encrypted video channels with fallback traversal servers, and encrypted EHR file storage was integrated with automated audit logs.
